 " Western overall is a fairly chill university. I can't speak to other students' experiences, but I've enjoyed my time here for the most part. But if you want to graduate exactly within 4 years, unless you come in knowing exactly what you want to do and get all your classes in when you're supposed to, Western might not be the best school for that. Especially for the design classes; there are various factors that led to it, but it was difficult to get into the major-locked 200's because a lot of the upperclassmen were taking it since they ALSO missed it for some reason. So if you don't finish the 200 series before the 300s, which are sequential, then you have to wait another year to start the 300s. "

 " I really enjoy Western and Bellingham as a whole! I think students beware the parking situation (they charge a lot and passes are hard to get) and the fact that most food places on campus close at 3pm. "

 " WWU has been a great experience. My professors are almost always wonderful, both in terms of how they approach the subject and how they evaluate learning. The campus is beautiful, though the buildings do have "character". There are tons of clubs to choose from. Sports have a minimal footprint on the student experience, which I've enjoyed. The lack of "Greek Life" is also a win, in my opinion. "

 " Western is great most of the time, its just that the areas of improvement REALLY need improvement.
Future students should attempt to find housing either through the dorms or within walking distance as the parking lot is both unreasonably packed and expensive. "

 " I no longer live on campus but when I did I found the dining hall food to be good despite what I heard from other people. If I didn't have a pre-paid meal plan I wouldn't have eaten there though since the price for each meal was way too expensive for what was served. There are also not nearly enough parking spots, at least before covid. I also find each parking pass to be way too expensive. Other than that I've enjoyed everything else about WWU. "
