" I've attended UCD as an undergraduate for 3 years and my experience has been extremely positive; so much so that I am looking into continuing on and completing a masters there. I would absolutely recommend studying psychology in UCD, it is a comprehensive course with supportive academic staff. But here are some general pros and cons of studying at UCD... General Pros of UCD: Large & Spacious campus, Generally safe, Over 30,000 students so you're bound to find a social scene that suits you, Excellent range of courses with great academic staff, Good career development centre/lots of career fairs, Several large libraries, Excellent gym and sports facilities, Wide range of societies, Several bus services from the city centre to campus, Nice woodland walks around campus, Free counselling services. General Cons of UCD: Coffee and food-choices are sub-par (The café in the arts building "Bluebird" is nice but other than that it's all over-priced and not great), Arts building looks like it hasn't been refurbished in decades, It can be a pain to commute there if you don't live on a direct bus line, on-campus accommodation is ridiculously expensive to expect students to pay for. However, in my experience, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. The expenses of food/accommodation on campus are the major pitfalls but Dublin is just an expensive city in itself. If you're considering UCD, then definitely go for it. "
