" The university itself was good and the facilities and parking were serious positives for attending this institution. Parking was free and had lots of availability and the campus is new and has modern tech and furnishing and cash machines. The campus, car park and library is open 24/7 and great for studying with loads of necessary quiet zones. Campus is very accessible with lifts, disabled entrances, simple building layout. Also very inclusive with prayer rooms, unisex toilets available as well as typical male/female facilities and they supply free sanitary products to students. Mentoring is available and there is great focus on importance of mental health with advisers around to provide support and meditation rooms. It is central to many travel routes, shops and food places. The choice, quality and cost of food on campus is terrible but at least they have vending machines, they also offer a large range of vegan products. Class schedules were good at times and accommodated flexible learning, providing more time for personal study. Unfortunately the number of times there has been a system error or scheduling mistake was often and can be disruptive for learning when there is confusion over class times and locations. Also inconvenient when you are left waiting more than 3 hours between your next class which accounts for lack of interest from students and decrease in attendance numbers. End of module surveys were never taken seriously by the university staff and changes were rarely made for the benefit of students. Lastly the university has many members of staff that show a genuine lack of concern for students and don't provide enough support when students ask for it. Course choice and availability was poor with many students being persuaded to take all the same classes so lecturers could limit the amount of modules they had to prepare and assess which is just laziness. It meant you may need to move campus for a certain class which is annoying and inconvenient. Overall it was a good university to attend and I got a good degree, they just need some work to be better in future. "
