" If you are thinking of going to the University of Genoa, you should investigate in detail the department you're interested in. They're all different.
As for my experience, the professors are excellent and there's a good environment among students. The education in itself is actually pretty hard, but i feel like there is an overall fairness to testing and attendance methods. This means, you might find it requires more effort than you'd expect from a relatively small university, but it's doable and the classes are good.
The university's weakness is definitely the administrative and bureaucratic side. No one seems to know what they're doing and they generally don't care about protecting your academic career.
Overall, the university is nice and i do recommend it, but make sure you keep a tab on your attendances, projects and requirements cause if you ever find yourself in trouble, you're on your own. "
