" I attend part time online classes. I find many of the classes not challenging enough and I'm in classes with people who could barely speak English. I think the institute's management are more interested in increasing enrollment and revenue, rather than accepting only suitable students. I feel I shouldve gone to a college and not a technical institute. Colleges are for business and technical institute are for hands on learning. This is my opinion. "

" BCIT is known for its efficient, fast-paced programs and graduates being offered employment very soon after graduation which was very appealing. The majority of the professors in my program were professional and outgoing. Transportation was convenient and easily accessible. Overall very enjoyable experience. "

" I am a part time student doing my courses distance and online. The teachers are hit or miss when it comes to communication and the level of clarity to provide to you on assignments or feedback. I have met some great people through the online world but we have bonded mostly over the frustrating aspect of the classes or the group project works. There have been some great gems of teachers through which I really appreciated but also the classic "read a text book and remember definitions that you will never need to remember ever again". So, a lack of learning in some cases. "

" Great school for more hands-on learning compared to bigger universities. Instructors are typically industry professionals, which means that they are always very knowledgeable on their topic, however it can also mean that they are not always the most skilled teachers. "
