" Loved my experience at Mac! I always recommend it to everyone who asks. The supportive community is like no other campus I've seen (not internally competitive) and the social scene is a great balance of work hard play hard! "

" Great time at the university. Spent 3 and a half years there and one year studying abroad. I spent the first year living in the dorms and found I met the most people there. The next two years were spent in student housing although the second half of my third year was spent in England as an exchange student. On my return I could not afford housing and became a commuter. At this time I spent lots of time in the libraries and studied much more although my socialization probably went down a bit during after school hours. "

" Academically a good school, with average student facilities. There isn't enough student accommodation but the university is looking at building more. Situated on a beautiful piece of land, close to a nature preserve. "

" A great environment to spend your 4 years in. Some more below:
Pros:
- lots of green space on campus and in surrounding area
- close to downtown Hamilton and Westdale, so lots of shops and restaurants to eat at
- profs and lecturers are usually dedicated, hard-working, and care about their students (so long as they are willing to work hard)
Cons:
- residences are crowded and old
- food is expensive for what it is and some locations have had problems with bugs
- Hamilton is a very unlikeable city in some ways "
