" A good school for anyone who wants to focus on IT and Computer Science specialisations. Despite being involved in the creation of the Nordic/Global Game Jams, ITU is a very modest institution that has avoided taking credit for social initiatives. They are, virtually, only well recognized in the Nordic and Scandinavian; and being a relatively new university has NOT aided their global rankings. Nowadays, they are trying to rebrand into a more "research-focussed" university, aiming to recruit, especially, AI and IT Security researchers from across Europe. None of these should mislead you however. ITU is, as far as I am concerned, a hidden gem among universities. Social Life is very active, with many clubs and organisations, including the student-run Cafe Analog and Scroll Bar. Most postgrads, and many undergrads, usually have a part-time/full-time job so it's a good environment for business networking as well. Despite a few programs being available in Danish only, ITU has also been a strong opponent of the Danish government's policy to reduce English programs in universities, managing to retain an international character. One word of caution I will have is that students who are transitioning to IT from STEM or Social Sciences can sometimes find the learning curve very steep, because a lot of us nerds here can assume students have more knowledge than they do. BUT conversely, this makes it an even better school for anyone who does have a background in computer science or a related field. "

" High level of education and acces to alot of information. To few choices to get a really "bespoke" education, will probably change as the university gets older/more students attend. Overall I would recommend either ITU or DTU as the technical university of choice both for full time students, or people thinking of doing a semester abroad in denmark. "

" One of the best things about the IT University of Copenhagen is the many student organisations. There really is something for everybody, something for every interest one could have. Board games, gaming, company startups, partying etc. Sports facilities is something it's a bit short on, it has a gym in the basement and that's that, and you need a membership for that to access it. But in Denmark we also don't really have long enough breaks between classes to do anything sport like in, and universities here isn't where live at, so it doesn't really need these sport facilities. Some hoops would be nice though. "
