" The university is very informal, which means you quickly make friends. You receive good support quickly. The professors are also very friendly and supportive. The choice of online and on-site courses is good. "

" Good university. Small, but overall very good social life and lots of students organisations. Mandatory courses are somewhat outdated but electives and mandatory electives are very good. There are a lot of groupworks which was not too much to my liking. Hardly any fixed written exames "

" It's a small and quiet campus but it offers many opportunities. The professors are very friendly and competent. They offer many interesting classes in different fields of business management. Going abroad is very much encouraged. There are also many options for classes tought in english. "

" As an exchange student (Erasmus program), I study at the WFI, the business school of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt-KU). The campus of the WFI is based in Ingolstadt while the main campus stands in Eichstätt, another city that is approximately 30km (19 miles) away. The lessons are taught in English or in German. The academic staff is excellent and helpful and the university offers a large course catalogue. The WFI enjoys a good reputation in Germany, despite its small size (900 students). In addition to attending your business lessons, you can take German lessons from level A2 to level B1. Unfortunately, if you speak a B2 or C1 German and want to improve your language skills, you have to go to the main campus in Eichstätt, which is often not possible because your compulsory courses in Ingolstadt and your German lessons in Eichstätt may overlap. The campus is located in the city of Ingolstadt, a medium-large city in Bavaria, at one hour from Munich by train. It is quite small and even if the atmosphere is pleasant (the campus stands in a beautiful and peaceful park, 5 minutes away from the very center of the city), rooms and amphitheatres definitely lack electrical outlets which is particularly unconvenient for students who take notes on their computers. Before your arrival, the university staff helps you find an accomodation in the city. Ingolstadt is an expensive city. If you plan to stay for one semester, you can find affordable student housing. But if you plan to stay more, count around €500 a month minimumin a WG (Wohngemeinschaft = shared flat). On the contrary, tuition fees are €50 per semester. Unlike many other universities, the WFI doesn't tell you what to do. You have to be quite autonomous. You should not expect the university to guide you. For instance, you won't receive any email that will remind you how to apply for a master thesis nor when is the deadline. So, you shouldn't hesitate to ask questions. Concerning the city, Ingolstadt is pleasant and lively. You can easily come to the university using public transportations, a bike or your feet. There is a big pedestrian street close to the campus, with many pubs, restaurants and shops. If you prefer quieter places, you can have a walk along the Danube. Here is their website if you look for more information: https://www.ku.de/en/ "
