" good university lots to do. teachers are easy to understand and assignments are easy to do however there is no parking on campus and the support is very limited in terms of mental health. future students should be aware that the academics of this institution is amazing however if you require therapy for mental health or drive a car to commute to university then you will struggle "

" Poor management for my field. Not really satisfied overall. The course itself is very interesting though, and it makes up for everything else. Overall, I would not recommend this university for for forensic psychology. "

" Good degree of teaching. Staff are supportive and helpful. We studied a wide variety of subjects and explored different areas of psychology. the psychology masters is helpful in getting jobs in the mental health field. "

" Poor communication from teaching/staff and poor in wellbeing check-ups. Teaching was cancelled a lot sometimes 5 minute before the class. Back-up/substitute teaching such as online did not go ahead, or teaching assistants that were meant to arrive never did. Assignments were poorly explained, just asked to refer to the handbook or example assignments. Head of department/ academic advisor are unreliable and unhelpful. The uni in general have great sporting facilities such as free gym membership and is very close to the town centre, supermarket and transport (train, buses etc.). Might be a good uni for different courses, but for psychology I would not recommend. Social scene is quite minimal, only a few clubs but they are quite basic and samey. Plenty of student pubs but mainly the locals go there. However, Preston is very close to Manchester and Liverpool which has better nightlife. "
