" I typically attend classes online or don't spend much time roaming the campus area. But from what I've seen the campus is pretty clean and decent. Overall the school is pretty decent and the tuition fee is affordable. "

" To start with the worst part, I expected to hate it. I've been a student for 2 years and was very surprised at all the resources available to students, the availability of the instructors, and the ratio of analog:digital study materials available to all students. As far as financial aid and resources for low-income students, it honestly sounds like I'm having an easier time than my friends living on-campus at fancy private universities. I've never had a bad encounter with any staff member nor have I ever felt stereotyped or discriminated against due to my visible queerness. I would honestly say that I love this college, to my own surprise due to the stigmatization of community colleges. I never would have been able to realistically consider aiming for university had I not started here. I don't know. I was really surprised by what a good institution it is. "

" Antelope Valley College is the typical community college but the issue is that you are in the Antelope Valley which is the real issue. If you are interested in saving money for college then, by all means, go for it but I would recommend spending the extra money and enjoying your education. "
