" Good school in an affordable area of California. Great for focusing on school/professional development. Not much to do in the area immediately around campus. The kinesiology program is great and has numerous connections to community and businesses. Good places to intern for physical therapy and occupational therapy as well as exercise science based professions. Cardiac rehab, respiratory therapy, athletic training, sports performance offices and facilities are all around the city and surrounding areas. Cost of living in the area is rising but it is still very affordable.
There is a master of kinesiology program for anyone interested. it is an online program, somewhat new with interesting courses and material. "

" I found that for being a satellite campus, that the school struggles in areas of options for classes, and sometimes the staff nice. I do like however how personal the class sizes are and how manage the courses can be. We need more teachers willing to teach at this campus and the option for classes that are online at local campus to be readily available to student from distance classes. I found that the teachers that enjoy teaching make learning more fun and thus makes me want to be a teacher. "

" The Antelope Valley campus isn't a large campus. The staff is helpful but can only assist with the majors that the campus offers. Majors not handled by the campus have to be coordinated by the Main Campus staff. Students are very social and there is a wide variety of clubs you can join. For a small campus, they still have a computer lab and library available for students. The main campus handles the sports scene, therefore, you won't see any of that at this campus. "

" Speaking primarily for the Kinesiology department, I think the school is a great place to really learn and not just get a degree. Most of the professors are very up to date with current evidence in their respective fields and there is enough variety in interest on their behalf that you get a diverse view at the field of Kinesiology. The program continues to grow so even though there is currently only an undergraduate opportunity at this university ; they have expressed interest in opening a graduate course for the Kinesiology program. Overall I recommend this school and program "
