" Manhattan College has been a really good academic experience. It is a small campus that has both some good things of campus life, but also the experience of being really close to New York City. When it comes to the psychology department, professors are very prepared and admirable. They also get to know their students and engage with them, making it easier to follow their teaching and do well, and with a variety of class options for different areas of psychology. Academic advisors are also super helpful, they will help you organize yourself and make sure you can take the classes you want and need, helping with any issue. The social scene can be very fun. There is not a lot of fun things to do around the school but once you are very close to Manhattan, and there are people getting together and having parties all around school regularly. "

" Manhattan College is the perfect institution for anyone looking for an intimate education setting. It's clear that the educators genuinely want their students to succeed and are very accommodating when it comes to one-on-one help and pursuing personal projects. The facilities aren't that great to be completely honest but the newer buildings are nice and obviously have more advanced technology.The food requires a great deal of improvement. As far as social life, there are many opportunities to join clubs and flow between social groups. Since a majority of the groups are student-lead there is a lot of diversity when it comes clubs and activities. The school prides itself on inclusivity and representation especially through its multicultural center, Women and Gender Resource Center and the Muslim Students Association. Throughout the school year there are many opportunities to have serious campus wide discussions regarding major social changes like the removal of DACA or acts of violence throughout the country so that students can voice their opinions and express different ways to help disadvantaged communities. Manhattan College also provides a wide range of majors and minors with excellent advisers. Most students complete their bachelor's degrees within 4 years and some choose to go into the seamless master's programs where students can earn their bachelor's and master's degrees in 5 years. "
