" Expensive but quality education. I was able to get my loans forgiven up to 19,500 through a teaching program so that was nice but it would have been a struggle if not. If you do not know what you want to do going in then you might end up with an expensive degree and little to no job prospects. "

" Marquette is a wonderful school if you are studying engineering, nursing, and business. If you are studying anything else then Marquette is not the school for you. It is very obvious that they put no energy into the schools where the alumni are not perceived as revenue for the university. It also completely depends on the professors that you get within the college. If you are in the college of comm you will either get wonderful professors (either full time or adjunct) or you will get horrible professors who don't know what they're doing who are typically adjunct. The school also claims that they have money issues and have recently been either letting go of professors/full time faculty or pushing professors to retire. Even though tuition annually goes up and is currently at $50-60,000 per year. It is not a safe environment at all. My freshman year my dorm building was shot. Female students are consistently afraid for their wellbeing after dark and even during the day. Marquette claims that campus is in an unsafe area because they are a Jesuit institution and one of their goals is to help the local area but the truth is that Marquette is in this area because it was the cheapest place to put campus. Also, they don't tell you that the athletic facilities for students are not well maintained and not updated since they were built in the 80s. Although they had enough money to make a brand new athletic training center for the mens basketball team only, which happens to be right next to the president's office because he "likes to walk the track". They also have forced students back into the classroom 100% even though COVID is still a very big issue. They are not offering any online courses to force students to pay the money to live on campus again. They don't care about students. All they care about is the money. When you go to them to talk about any issues you have about professors or classes or anything administration shuts you down and could not care less even though you are paying thousands of dollars and going into debt for your education from them. " My experiences at Marquette University were overall good. I was a commuter student so I didnt get to experience many of the things that other students did but from what I've heard, life on campus is pretty fun and worth it. "

" Overall, Marquette is a fine school. I would recommend it to students who are looking for a traditional, mid-sized university with religious (Jesuit) affiliation. Go golden eagles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

" Excellent college experience. I had access to all the resources I needed and opportunities to participate in quality internships which enriched my experience. I would recommend this university to anyone looking to have a traditional college experience that embodies the Jesuit approach to education. "
