University of ZurichI enjoyed my time at the UZH a lot. The freedom of being able to put together your own schedule, however, is both a blessing and a curse. If you decide to pursue a major and a minor/ two majors in very different directions (e.g. I had Japanese studies and English), be prepared for many major clashes in the time schedule. You will miss classes and it will probably take you 1-2 years longer to finish your Bachelor. Overall, social life was great. There are many events hosted by different clubs. Gyms with various types of equiment are there for you to use if you pay the small fee of... eh... 10-15 Francs per year?
